Ames Watchman.

Word has been received here of the death of Alex Duff at his home in Ottawa, Ill. He was formerly engaged in the hotel business in this city and will be remembered by our people. He was a native of Scotland but came to this county very many year ago and lived at Ames and other points as well as in this city. He was a brother of Mr. Duff our popular meat market man.
