DIED.--Word has been received here this week of the death of S. F. Wheeler at his home in Toledo, Iowa, at the age of 63 years. The remains were taken to Boone for interment. He was formerly a resident of this city having been engaged in the photograph business. He also resided in Cambridge and Collins where he has many friends. We understand that he is now a member of Fervent Lodge of Masons in Collins. He was a native of Vermont and came west in the early days reaching Iowa in 1872. He leaves a wife, son Chas. of Boone, and daughter Miss Nellie to mourn his loss.
In the same paper:
Wednesday Mr. Bartlett was at Nevada called to look after preparations for the funeral of S. F. Wheeler who died this week in Toledo. Mr. Wheeler was a former resident here and the father-in-law of Mr. B.
