The Ames Watchman

Mrs. Golden, who had been lingering so long, passed away the latter part of the week and was brought to Ames for burial, on Sabbath afternoon. The funeral was held at the M. E. Church. A large number of weeping friends followed the remains to their last resting place. Mrs. Golden, (nee Luella Stratton) was well known and highly respected by all who knew her. The friends ahve the sympathy of all in this community.
