From Story County Watchman December 21, 1894

Zearing Enterprise: ....Died, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Martin Lonning*, in the vicinity of Zearing, on the 6th day of December, 1894, Mrs. Eleanor V. Bunker*, aged 77 years, 9 months and 28 days. Mrs. Bunker was born in Vennis, Cayuga county, New York, a few years later she came to Iowa and has made her home in this vicinity for a number of years. The funeral service was preached by Rev. C. A. Gray, of Des Moines, in the Christian church Sunday the 8th, at 2:30 o'clock p. m. The service was largely attended and a great many followed the remains to their last resting place.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mrs. Martin Lonning" is Mary Belden who married firstly Edwin Godfrey and secondly Martin Lonning. Her mother, the deceased in this article, was born Eleanor Kelley/Kelly, daughter of Joseph Kelley and Mary Horneberg. Mary married firstly John L. Belden and secondly Joseph M. Bunker.
