Slater News: ....Sunday, Feb. 4th, 1894, occurred the death of C. C. Holm, at the home of his son living north of Slater. Mr. Holm was well known around Slater and Sheldahl, having lived here for many years. He was born in 1804, and was nearly ninety years old at the time of his death.
