From Story County Watchman May 27, 1887

DIED--On Wednesday at the residence of his son in Milford township, James McNichols, aged 88 years. Mr. McNichols was a native of County Meah, Ireland, and came to this country at an early day.--He has been a resident of this county for a number of years. The funeral will take place to-day from the Catholic church in this place.
