From Story County Watchman July 17, 1885

A child of Eugene Brily, formerly of this county, died at their residence in Wright County on Wednesday last, aged three years. It died from the effects of concentrated lye in a can thrown away, which it managed to get hold of. It was only sick a few hours from the accident until death.
