From Story County Watchman February 13, 1885

Mrs. K. W. Brown died from a cancer on Friday morning last after a lingering illness. It has long been expected and the worst is now over. She leaves a husband and four children to look forward to a meeting in the future. The funeral services were held on Saturday.
