DIED.--At the residence of Mr. W. S. Vincent on Saturday, Feb. 16th, Mrs. Daisy Marks, aged 28 years.

Mrs. Marks was the eldest daughter of our townsman, Mr. W. S. Vincent, and was born in Marion county, Indiana, on the 22nd day of January, 1856, and in June following her parents removed to Story county, Iowa, where she lived until her death. In 1875, she was married to Mr. F. L. Marks, also an old resident of the county, and lived in the county since that date. The funeral services took place on Monday, and the remains were gently laid away to awaid the resurrection.

She was of a kind and obliging disposition and her loss will be deeply felt by all, to whom she was endeared by the ties of friendship. She leaves a husband and parents to mourn her loss.
