From Story County Watchman October 19, 1883

DIED.--On October 14th, 1883, at Hurly, Dakota, of inflammation of the bowels, Chas. J. Talbott, aged 21 years.

Mr. Talbott was a son of one of our oldest settlers, Jesse H. Talbott, and was born and lived in Nevada, until recently, when he went to Dakota, where he was at the time of his death. The remains were brought to Nevada, and interred in the cemetery on Wednesday.

It is a severe stroke to his relatives to whom all extend the hand of sympathy in this hour of affiction.
