MRS. MATTERS SERVICES SATURDAY

Mrs. Rhoby Matters 70, 213 Abraham Drive, died Tuesday at the Scottsdale Memorial Hospital, Scottsdale, Arizona.

Funeral services will be at 2pm Saturday from Stevens Memorial Chapel, with burial in Story Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Randy Pelham will officiate.

Mrs. Matters was born Dec 2, 1902 and she married H. H. Matters, Dec 22, 1922 at Nevada. She and her husband farmed northeast of Ames until 1946, when they moved to Ames. Mrs. Matters worked for Tildens for many years. A lifetime resident of Story County, she was a member of Pleasant Grove Church where she taught Sunday School.

Survivors include two sons, Fred K. Brookland and James E. phoenix, AZ, three daughters: Mrs. Alice Jensen, RRI, Mrs. Margaret N. Stumbo, Marion SC, and Mrs. Kay Nott, Phoenix, AZ, She was preceded in death by her husband.

Friends may call at Stevens Memorial Chapel Thursday until time of service.
