On Monday morning last Henry Ortman, living south of Zearing, committed suicide. He had been sick for a long time, and becoming despondent, took a heavily loaded shot gun and deliberately shot the entire top of his head off, from the lower portion of the forehead. The brains, bones of the head and flesh were scattered in every direction. He was unmarried. The Coroner held an inquest and the verdict was in accordance with facts.
