THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, November 17, 2010.

Clinton “Clint” Oren Michael Benson, 49, of Louisville, Ky., and formerly of Ames, passed away peacefully at his home Monday, Nov. 8, 2010. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at Story Memorial Gardens in Ames.

Clint was born June 2, 1961, in Independence, Mo., to George and Helen Benson.

He will be dearly missed by daughters, Alisha Benson and Kristina Benson, of Ames, and Katie Benson, of Boone; sisters, Helen Schneider, of Madrid, and Dawn Munson, of Louisville, Ky.; brother, Tim Benson; and five nieces and nephews, Melissa and Nicholas Campbell, and Adam, Austin and Amanda Munson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Helen Benson.

Memorial contributions may be made to his daughter, Alisha Benson, in his memory.

He was a loved father, brother and uncle.
