From Nevada Representative April 10, 1901

Henrietta Baldwin dided Friday monrning, April 5, 1901, at the home in this city of Mr. and Mrs. Frank McKim. The immediate cause of her death was cerebro spinal meningitis. Prior to the development of this trouble she had been operated upon apparently with entire success for appendicitis and was seemingly on the road to recovery from an affection of long staning which had lately been very acute. She had been in poor health from this cause at her home in Des Moines, and in February she came up to Nevada to visit the Misses Frazier, at whose home she became seriously ill. She was then taken to Frank McKim's, where the operation was performed. Miss Baldwin came to Nevada when a child to make her home with her aunt, Mrs. M. P. Warrick, and she continued to live here until she went with the Warrick family a year or two ago to Des Moines. She was a bright attractive and most estimable young woman and her death brings sorrow to a wide circle of friends. The funeral was held at the McKim home Saturday forenoon; and her remains were taken away on the noon train to her old home at Granger, Indiana, accompanied by her father, who arrived here after her death.
