Mrs. Osborn, Pioneer County Resident, Dies

Mrs. Martha J. Osborn, 76, a life long resident of Story county, died at her home three miles north of Ames at 12:30 p. m., Wednesday, following a year's illness with heart trouble.

Mrs. Osborn was born in Indian Creek township May 13, 1860, and was married to Thomas Osborn at Nevada Dec. 9, 1880. Except for seven years in South Dakota the Family operated a farm in this county.

Surviving Mrs. Osborn are her husband and one son, G. L., of north of Ames; two daughters, Mrs. Charles King of Vancouver, B. C., and Mrs. Pearl Campbell of Nevada, and one brother, Fremont Dye of Ames.

The body was taken to Adams chapel here but funeral arrangements were not completed Wednesday.
