Services Thursday for J. O. Hagen

Funeral services for Jeffrey O. Hagen, 55, a former Ames resident, will be held here Thursday. Mr. Hagen died about 5 p.m. Thursday in Los Angeles, Calif.

Born near Nevada, he lived in Ames until 1944 when he moved to California.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen; a son, Jeffrey M., and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ellen Shaw, all of California and his mother, Mrs. Ellen Hagen, a brother, Martin and two sisters, Agnes and Anna, all of Ames. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer and Lester.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from the Adams Funeral Home. The Rev. E. E. Peters, pastor of the Evangelical United Brethren church, will officiate. Burial is to be in Story Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
