LUCETTA UNDERWOOD ROTTMAN SUCCUMBS

Mrs. Lucetta Underwood Rottman, 24, died at 11:40 p. m. Tuesday evening at a hospital in Milwaukee, after a short illness.

Mrs. Rottman was born and brot up in Ames and resided here until her marriage in April, 1935.

The body will be brot to Ames and funeral services are to be held Friday afternoon at the Adams mortuary. Burial will be in the Ames cemetery.

Surviving besides her husband, who is engaged in federal forestry work, is her mother, Mrs. Jennie Underwood of Des Moines, and a brother, George Underwood, a junior student in Ames high school.

Prof. and Mrs. W. H. Meeker, Miss Ruth Cole and George Underwood left Tuesday for Milwaukee upon receipt of the word of the critical condition of Mrs. Rottman.

Mrs. Rottman was a niece of Mrs. Meeker.

Rites For Former Ames Woman Friday

Funeral services for Mrs. Luceta Rottman of Milwaukee, formerly Miss Lucetta Underwood of Ames, will be held at 2:30 p. m., Friday, from the Adams chapel. Burial will be in the Ames cemetery.
