ROLAND - Mrs. John J. Omvig, 69, died at her home here Tuesday morning at 8:30. She had been in ill health all summer, but the immediate cause of her death was heart trouble.

The funeral will be held Friday afternoon. There will be a prayer service at the home at 1:30 followed by a service in the Salem Lutheran church. The Rev. Olaf Holen will officiate. Burial will be in the Roland cemetery.

She is the mother of nine children, seven of whom survive her. They are Mrs. John Richardson, Arthur and Alfred Omvig, all of Opheim, Mont., Martha of Des Moines, Mrs. K. A. Lein, Jens Omvig and Mrs. Amos Tweedt, all of Roland.
