COLLINS — Carol Sue Hennick, 71, of Collins, died Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Carol was born January 28, 1939 in Wellington, Kansas, the daughter of Adrian Ray and Ethel Lorraine (Custer) Allbee. She was united in marriage to Gilbert “Bordy” Hennick August 29, 1981 in Miami, Oklahoma. Carol was a Beautician and had also owned Bordy’s Tap in Collins for ten years. She was a member of the Collins United Methodist Church. Carol enjoyed crafts, fishing and tending bar.

Carol is survived by her husband: G. B. “Bordy” Hennick of Collins, Iowa; a son: Ken (Melanie) Hennick of Collins, Iowa; three grandchildren: Tanner, Hannah, Paul; two great-grandchildren: Kendall, Thaelynn; and her sister: Joyce Thomas of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the Collins United Methodist Church in Collins. Interment was in the Collins Evergreen Cemetery.

The Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada handled arrangements.
