Dan Clauson, 64, of Boone, died Thursday, May 27, 2010, at Boone County Hospital in Boone. His body has been cremated and a memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 3, at Schroeder Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets in Boone. Burial of his cremains will be in the Bass Point Cemetery, north of Boone.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, at the funeral chapel, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue from 8 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral chapel.

Memorials may be given to the Boone National Little League.
