Halvor Larson died at his home in Story City last Thursday morning, at the advanced age of 87 years. He had been rather poorly for some time and death came to him as a relief. He was a brother of Mrs. M. Hegland of this place and was known to many of our citizens, especially among the older, he being one of the pioneers of this section of the county. The funeral was held last Saturday afternoon from St. Petri church, Rev. O. P. Vangsnes officiating. Among those from here who attended the funeral were Messrs and Mesdames M. Hegland, S. O. Hegland. T S. Erickson and Mrs. P. M. Martens.
