Ole Haugen Fjeldhaug Dead

L. M. Olson received word from Randall last Monday morning that his father Ole Haugen (Fjeldhaug) was dead. Mr. Haugen had been poorly for some time, so that the news was not so unexpected, but still was shocking to the Olson family. Mr. Olson and family will attend the funeral which will be held at Randall, further particulars of which will be given next week.

Obituary of Ole J. Haugen

Ole J. Haugen (Fjeldhaug) was born in Norway July 30, 1832, and was married there, after which in 1882 when they came to this country, having during the time after that lived at different times in Hamilton and Hardin counties and at Slater, but for the past years has lived with a son near Randall. He died on Sunday, March 6, 1910, at the ripe old age of 77 years, 7 months and 6 days. His wife died last July. He leaves three sons and two daughters, besides other relatives and friends to mourn his death. His sons and daughters and their residences are as follows: Amond Olson, Randall; Mrs. Lena Brandeland; Huxley; L. M. Olson, Roland; Mrs. Anna Hovde, Roland; Martin Olson, Graybull, Wyoming.

The funeral was held last Wednesday from Elim church at Randall, Rev. G. O. Paulsrud officiating, after which the remains were laid to rest beside his wife. The sorrowing relatives have the sincere sympathy of their many friends in the hour of their bereavement.
