Death of Mrs. Askeland

Formerly Lived on Farm Southwest of Town, Later in Roland, But for Past Few Years Lived at Story City Where She Died

Mrs. Askeland passed away at her home near the park last Sunday. She had been unwell for some time, but seemed to grow worse after lightning struck the house two weeks ago. The fright sustained at that time was a great shock to her nervous system. The funeral will be held this Thursday forenoon at 11 o'clock in the Immanuel church.

The deceased, who was an aged woman, leaves a husband to mourn her death, but no children. - Story City Herald
