The Nevada Representative, Nevada, Story County, Iowa, July 28, 1880.
Died.
In this city, on Friday afternoon, July 23d, Mrs. Bishop, wife of Mr. U. H. Bishop, of an inward cancer, after a painful illness of about a year.
Mrs. Bishop with her husband, came to this place from Chicago about seven years ago, and has resided here since, winning increased respect and esteem of her neighbors and friends the better they became acquainted with her. She was an intelligent and cheerful lady, possessing great kindness of heart, and when possible ever ready to lend a helping hand where she could be of any assistance to the needy. As a near neighbor, we have none but the highest and purest words of praise for her, and sympathy for those who feel her loss so keenly. She is the first of the family to be called away, leaving to mourn her loss a husband, and three children, but fortunately all of them have arrived at the age of manhood and womanhood. Her remains were taken to Earlville, this State, where her friends reside for interment.
