Octogenarian Passes to the Great Beyond

Halvor K. Holland (Moer) died at the home of his son, Paul H. Hayland last Saturday after an illness of three weeks. The deceased was born in Norway, June 8, 1827 and was 81 years, 3 months and 11 days old at the time of his death.

in 1893, he came to this country and has since made his home with his son, Paul H. Hayland. His other son, Knudt Baker, who lives at Chicago, was also at his bedside when he passed away. Besides his two sons he leaves a few relatives and a large number of friends.

The funeral was held Monday afternoon from Zion church Rev. J. N. Sandven officiating after which interment took place in the cemetery near the church. The sorrowing ones have the sympathy of a large circle of friends.
