Former Roland Man Dead

The sad news reached here last Thursday that Axel Nelson, of Mapleton, Minn., had passed away the previous day from consumption, from which disease he had been a sufferer for several months. The deceased was a son of Mrs. Anna Gausland, of this place, and lived here until a few years ago when he moved to Minnesota, where he later was married. To this union was born two children, who with their mother are left to mourn his loss.

It is only a few weeks ago that Mr. and Mrs. Nelson were here for a visit, and Mr. Nelson then stated that he wished to see his friends once more before his final summons which he knew would soon come.

The funeral was held at Mapleton. T. Nelson, his brother, of this place, attended the funeral.
