The Nevada Representative, Nevada, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, March 31, 1880.
IN MEMORIUM
Died, on Sunday, at 8 A. M., Rachel, wife of John Donahoo.
Funeral services on Monday at the Evangelical Church, Rev. Long officiating, after which the remains were followed to their last resting place by a large concourse of relatives and friends.
Mrs. Donahoo was a faithful member of the church for over 23 years, and always a diligent and effective mother in her Master's vineyard. But alas, she has gone from the home that she loved and adorned, and from the presence of neighbors and friends who would gladly call her back again. Her unexpected departure from life leaves naught but sadness, but all must bow in humble submission to the will of the Father "who doeth all things well."
