THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Sunday, January 31, 2010.

Ronald E. Gale, Jr., 45, of Ames, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, at Israel Family Hospice House, Ames.

Ronald was born Aug. 24, 1964, the son of Ronald E. Gale Sr. and Virginia L Gale. He was a mechanic and enjoyed building and flying remote control airplanes. He had lived in Marshalltown, Ames, Nevada, Maxwell, Union and Waterloo during his life.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Gale; one son, Grant (Maureen) Gale, of Marshalltown; one grandson, Ethan Grant; his father, Ronald E. Gale Sr., of Union; his mother, Virginia Gale, of Maxwell; one brother, Steve Brown, Nevada; and two sisters, Angela (Mark) Marrs, of Ottumwa, and Sherrie, (Tony) Winkler, of McCallsburg.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
