THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Sunday, January 31, 2010.

JulieAnn Marie Ulrich, 38, of Nevada, died at her home Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010.

Julie was born April 7, 1971, in Waterloo, the daughter of David and Carolyn (Davis) Strickland. She graduated from Walnut Ridge Baptist Academy and attended Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny.

She married Luke Ulrich on Oct. 26, 1991, in Waterloo. She enjoyed teaching piano. She was a member of Nevada Baptist Church. She loved her children and family.

She is survived by her husband, Luke, of Nevada; her three children: Harrison, Levi and Lauren, all at home; her father and mother, David and Carolyn Strickland, of Nevada; and a brother and sister-in-law: David and Mercy Strickland, of Waterloo.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, at Nevada Baptist Church. Interment will be in Nevada Municipal Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Bacon Funeral Home, Nevada.

Memorials may be made to the Nevada Baptist Church Playground Fund.

Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory in Nevada is in charge of arrangements.
