Shirley M. Erbe, 76, of Maxwell, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, at her home, of complications from a stroke and brain tumor. Per Shirley’s wishes, she was cremated and no services will be held. Her cremated remains will be taken to New Mexico, where her husband and daughter’s ashes were scattered before her.

She is survived by her daughter, Victoria McEachern, of Boca Raton, Fla.; her sister, Vera Cerwinski, of Nashua; her brothers, Willard (Marie) Hennick Jr. and Eldon Hennick, both of Charles City, and Ronald (Sandra) Hennick, of Floyd; her granddaughters, Levette Bosley and Terre’ Stacy, both of Maxwell; and her beloved Troy and Little Guy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Erbe; daughter, Ginger Morrissey; her parents; and two sisters.

Condolences may be sent to her home at 608 Metcalf St., Maxwell, Iowa 50161.
