Linden "Lindi" Aileen Anderson, was born on March 23, 1954, in Ames, the daughter of D. Duane "Andy" and Margaret (Koprek) Anderson. She graduated from the Gilbert High School in 1972 and went on to attend Westmar College in LeMars, majoring in Elementary Education.
On August 7, 1976, Linden was united in marriage to David Snyder in LeMars. After their marriage the couple began their teaching careers in LeMars. With Dave being a band director, it lead them to various towns throughout Iowa in her 30 plus year teaching career. She was a member of ISEA, PEI, and St. Cecelia Parish and in the past had been a cheerleading sponsor and was once in a bowling league.
