THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, October 20, 2009.

Milford Johnson, 77, died Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at the Manor of Malvern. Private family burial of cremated remains will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, in Story Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Ames. There will be no visitation.

Milford Johnson was born in Grand Forks, N.D., to C. Lewis and Mable (Mill) Johns. He worked for 40 years for Iowa State University as a maintenance man.

He is survived by two sisters, Gertrude (James) Woodworth, of Council Bluffs, and Barbara Yashack, of Story City; and five nephews.

Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home of Council Bluffs is in charge of arrangements.
