THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, August 26, 2009.

Lyle Wayne Olson, 85, of Keota and formerly of Roland, died Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, at the VA Medical Center in Iowa City. A celebration of life service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at United Church of Faith in Keota. Burial with military rites will be at 4 p.m. Friday in Roland Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, at Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Keota.

A general memorial fund has been established.
