THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, July 30, 2009.

Barbara Jean Jennings, 74, of Washington, formerly of Corydon, died Tuesday July 28, 2009, at Halcyon House in Washington following a two year battle with cancer. Celebration of life services in conjunction with Eastern Star services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 31, at the Corydon United Methodist Church in Corydon, with Rev. John Boatman officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Friday at the church, where the family will receive friends.

The family will also receive friends from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at Alexis Cemetery in Alexis, Ill., followed by graveside services at 11 a.m. at the cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the Corydon Care Center, Hospice of Washington County, Halcyon House in Washington or the American Cancer Society.

The Jones - Eden Funeral Home in Washington is handling arrangements.
