WAYNE HALLIBURTON

NEVADA - Services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home, Wednesday, July 23 at 1:30 p.m. for a Nevada man, Wayne Halliburton, 61, 120 8th Street. Pastor Paul Anderson will officiate with burial in the Evergreen Memory Gardens.

Halliburton died Monday, July 21 at 8:30 a.m. in the Story County Hospital in Nevada after an illness of several years.

Born March 26, 1914 in Green City, Mo. to Alfred and Effie Halliburton, he had been a Nevada resident for the past 29 years. He was a former carpenter and National Animal Disease employee. He married Pauline Rieger on February 28, 1942 in Canada.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Cal of Ames; a daughter-in-law, Jane Halliburton of Ames; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
