Stanton "Stub" Olene Olson, 91, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009 at Bethany Manor in Story City.

Stanton Olson was born July 8, 1917 to Sam and Maggie (Gabrielson) Olson near Ellsworth, Iowa. He lived his entire life in the area and was employed as a carpenter for Hunziker and Furman.
He is survived by one sister, Marjorie (Robert) Benson of Ames.

Stanton was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Leona Carpenter; and three brothers, Lester, Kermit and Willard Olson.

No services are planned.

Soderstrum Funeral Home in Story City assisted the family with arrangements.
