Father Of Ames Woman Dies At Hospital Here

David Griffith Demaree, 81, of Crawfordsville, Ind., who had been visiting with his daughter, Mrs. W. Paul Jones of 304 Riverside avenue, since June 1, died at 9:18 a. m., Monday at the Mary Greeley hospital. Death was due to heart trouble aggravated by the extreme heat of the past two weeks. He had been in the hospital since July 11.

Surviving him are his daughter here and the following sons and daughters: Frank H. Demaree of Lafayette, Ind.; Carl Demaree of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Grace D. Dronberger of Terre Haute, Ind,. and Mrs. May Himmelbauer of Oakland, Ind.

Funeral services will be held at Crawfordsville. Mr. and Mrs. Jones will accompany the body there.
