Marlys J. Schultz, age 68, of Moltke, Mich., passed away Feb. 20, 2009, at home. She was born March 19, 1940, in Nevada, Iowa to Joseph and Norma (Ayers) Briley. She graduated from Nevada High School in 1958. On June 19, 1965, she married Charles G. Schultz in Nevada.

Mrs. Schultz is survived by her husband, Pastor Charles; two sons, Christian Charles (Rhonda) Schultz of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Andrew Alden Schultz of Alpena, Mich; and her brother, Lynn Briley of Denver, Colo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph in 2008 and Norma in 2001. Interment was in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
