After his marriage he engaged in farming and after renting land for several years, purchased the farm six miles south of town which was his home for over 30 years. In 1919 he retired from active farm work and moved to the residence he purchased in Roland where he has since resided. Although he retired from farming, he continued his active life and was engaged in the carpenter trade and other work continuously until about a year ago, when his illness developed and he was forced to discontinue his work.

M. Halverson) died April 21, 1927.
Mr. Molde was a very active man and took considerable interest in th affairs of his community and particularly in his church, being at present a member of the board of deacons of Bergen Lutheran church. He also served on the building committee when the new church edifice was built five years ago.
Mr. and Mrs. Molde celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last December 18. Owing to the illness of Mr. Molde, the festival consisted of a family gathering at the home.
