THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, April 7, 2009.

Michael David Beal, 66, of Ames, died Sunday, April 5, 2009, under hospice care at his home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 10, at Heartland Baptist Church in Ames. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 9, at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames.

Michael Beal was born Nov. 27, 1942, in Nevada, to Howard E. and Carolyn Beal. He was employed by the city of Ames and Resource Recovery Center for 23 years.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene Beal, of Ames; one sister, Jo Procter, of Canada; three daughters; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter.
