Mrs. Larson, 65, Life Resident of Slater, Dies Sat.

SLATER— Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Larson of Slater, 65, who died at her home at 3 p. m., Saturday of pneumonia, were held Monday afternoon. Services were held at the home at 2 p. m., and at the Palestine church near Huxley at 2:30 p. m., with the Rev. Peder Beuland in charge of both services. Burial was in the Palestine cemetery.

Mrs. Larson was born near Slater April 24, 1872 and lived in that vicinity all her life, with the exception of a short time in Ames.

Surviving her are her husband, Lewis Larson, and the following children, Milton Holland of Los Angeles, Cal.; Noel Larson of Leighton; Mrs. Ester Cooper of Pasadena, Cal.; Mrs. Lila Higgs of Maxwell; Mrs. Marie Meredith of Ames; Mrs. Frances Johnson of Cambridge; Mrs. Edna Heglund of Slater; also five step-children: Silas Larson of Ames; Mrs. Gladys Sproul of Des Moines; Seward Larson of Blue Earth, Minn.; Clara Larson of Seattle, Wash.; Sina Christoferson of Cambridge. A former husband, Mr. Holland, died a number of years ago.
