MRS. SLATTUM RITES ARE HELD AT NEVADA

NEVADA - Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Morfoot Funeral home here for Mrs. Martha Slattum, ??, patient at the Story county infirmary who died Thursday morning.

Mrs. Slattum, who had been an insane patient in the infirmary of the home for many years had worked her way thru the bars of the window in her second story room and dropped to the ground below sustaining fatal injuries.

Burial was in the Nevada cemetery.

Surviving is a brother in Scarville.
