MRS. MINERVA ALLEN DIES AT HOME HERE

Mrs. Minerva Allen, 70, resident of Ames for the past 17 years, died at her home, 121 High street, Friday evening at 6 o'clock. She had been ill for one week.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 from the Adams chapel with burial in the Ames cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Adams mortuary until time for the services.

Mr. Allen died in 1929. Surviving are one son, C. W. Allen and one granddaughter, Mrs. Ed Mell, both of Ames.
