DAUGHTER OF HUXLEY PEOPLE DIES MONDAY

HUXLEY—Mrs. Ira Melaas of Winterset, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Kalsem of Huxley died at her home in Winterset Monday morning at three o'clock. Her death was caused by pneumonia and heart trouble.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a. m. from the Melaas home in Winterset and at 2 p. m. from the Fjeldberg Lutheran church in Huxley with Dr. J. N. Anderson in charge.

Mrs. Melaas is survived by her husband, Ira Melaas, four children, Donald, Helen, Bruce and Ira jr., of Winterset; three sisters, Miss Millie Kalsem of Chicago, Mrs. Cecil Larson of Slater, Mrs. Sophus Berhow of Huxley: one brother Orville Kalsem of Huxley and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Kalsem of Huxley.
