Helen Heller, Ames Resident 15 Years, Dies

Mrs. Helen Terwillegar Heller, 78, resident of Ames for more than 15 years, died at her home, 711 Ridgewood avenue, Tuesday afternoon, following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held from the Adams chapel, Thursday, at 4 p. m., with the Rev. Arthur R. McLaughlm, pastor of the Congregational church, officiating. The body will be taken to Minonk, Ill., for burial.

Mrs. Heller was born at Morris, Ill., Feb. 8, 1858, the daughter of pioneer parents. She was graduated from the public schools in Illinois and taught school in that state for eight years.

She was married in 1885 to Adolph S. Heller, the couple residing in Pontiac, ??? until 1907 when they moved to Webster City. Iowa. There they remained until Mr. Heller's death in 1919. The following year Mrs. Heller moved to Ames to make her home, uniting with the Congregational church.

Mrs. Heller leaves one son, V. G. Holler of Stillwater, Okla.; four grandchildren. Myrtice, Louise, Elaine and David Heller, all of Stillwater; and one brother. Albert Terwillegar of Dwight, Ill.
