Mary Louise Niemyer, 50, of Ames died Monday at Mary Greeley Medical Center there. The cause of death is unknown, pending the results of an autopsy. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Ames, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Mrs. Niemyer was born in Ames and had lived near Ellsworth 25 years before returning to Ames 25 years ago. She was a customer service representitive with AT&T Cable Services and had sang in the choir and served as a volunteer at her church. She enjoyed crocheting and reading.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy; a son, Jameson at home; her parents, LuVerne and Allie Mortvedt of Story City; two brothers, Roger Mortvedt of Des Moines and Jeff Mortvedt of Radcliffe, and two sisters, Janet Hjortsvang and Paula Mortvedt of Story City.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Adams Funeral Home in Ames. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
