Uncle Of Ames Woman Succumbs At Boone Home

BOONE—L. V. Harpel, 68, justice of the peace and former Boone county attorney, died at his home here Thursday afternoon. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p. m. Sunday at the Jones funeral home. Masonic orders will take part. Burial will take place at Sheldahl, formerly Mr. Harpel's home.

Mr. Harpel was an uncle of Mrs. Frank Horning of Ames.

Mr. Harpel was a graduate of Iowa State college. His wife and one son, Gates Harpel of Manistee, Mich., survive.
