MRS. LIZZIE SWANSON

Mrs. Lizzie Swanson, 77, died at her home at Kelley at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, after a week's illness following a stroke of apoplexy.
Mrs. Swanson had lived in Kelley since retiring from the farm in 1920, a year following the death of her husband, the late William Swanson.
Born in Sweden, March 7, 1859, as Lizzie Soderstrum, she came with her parents to America when a child of nine years.
She had lived in or near Kelley for many years leaving the farm and locationg in a home in Kelley in shortly after the death of her husband.
She leaves seven sons and three daughters. The sons are Elmer, John, Walter and Earl of near Kelley, Victor of Alexander, Minn., Wilbur of Perry and Clifford of Ames. The daughters are Mrs. Ellis Stensland and Mrs. Ira Benbow of near Kelley and Mrs. Earl Crispin of Boone county. There is also one daughter, Mrs. Mary Carrol of near Kelley.
