James Jensen, 78, Former Story City Commissioner, Dies

STORY CITY — James Jensen, 78, street commissioner of Story City for many years, died at his home here at 7 a. m. Thursday.

Death was due to advanced age.

Jensen came to Story county in 1879 and had been employed as Story City street commissioner until about a year ago, when his health began to fall.

He is survived by his wife and one sister, Mrs. N. J. Nelson, Story City.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Grace Evangelical church, with the Rev. G. L. Bergeman in charge. Burial will be in the Story City cemetery.
