JOHN S. JOHNSON DIES AT STORY C.

STORY CITY-John S. Johnson, (Stusvig), 75, died of uremic poisoning at 9:45 a. m. Monday at his home here. He had been in poor health the past month.

Born in Norway February 2, 1860, Mr. Johnson came to the United States when he was nine years old, settling first with his family at Clinton. He came later to Story county, where he had spent most of the time since. He had been in the restaurant business for many years, having sold out his cafe here a few months ago.

Surviving are his wife and the following children: Mrs. Dwight Adams of Nashville, Tenn.; Palmer of Chicago and Mrs. Charlie Canady of Story City. He also leaves a brother, Johannes of Ihlen, Minn.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 from the home and at 3 o'clock from Immanuel Lutheran church with the Rev. T. T. Heimarck in charge.

Burial will be in the South St. Petri cemetery south of here.
